Staggered Start to Kick Off 2026-2027 School Year!
- Friday, August 14: First day for students in grades K-12 (last names beginning with A-L)
- Monday, August 17: First day for students in grades PreK-12 (last names M-Z)
- Tuesday, August 18: Students in grades K-12 report
- Tuesday, August 18: Only PreK students with last names A-L report
- Wednesday, August 19: All PreK students report
Parents and/or guardians of students in blended families, with special circumstances, or who have questions should contact the front office of the school(s) their child will attend in the fall.

RAPID NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
We are using ParentSquare as the rapid notification service to communicate district, school, and classroom announcements. New student and parent accounts will be created in August when the new student schedules are uploaded.

- Securely receive report cards, IEPs and other important student documents. You can use ParentSquare on any device. You can download the free mobile app for iOS or Android or use the desktop version at the ParentSquare website.
Latchkey Program
Right at School, a nationally recognized before- and after-school enrichment provider, will operate at East, Central, Compass, North, South, and West elementary schools in the 2026-2027 school year. Right At School will offer before-school and after-school programming to kindergarten through 5th-grade students beginning in August (the exact date TBA).
For families who wish to participate in this program, it will be available before school, starting at 6:30 a.m., and after school until 6:00 p.m. every day school is in session. Families can register directly with Right At School and create flexible monthly schedules to support their busy lives.
Right At School will provide staffing and a comprehensive enrichment curriculum to keep students engaged and active. Students will have a healthy snack, engage in dynamic fitness activities, participate in hands-on projects, team building, and leadership development, and have the opportunity to complete homework. The program also features a thematic curriculum aligned with academic and social-emotional learning standards.
