Daryan Martin will join the guidance counseling staff at the high school effective August 19. His position is an addition to the current staff. Daryan graduates this month from the University of Cincinnati with his second Master's degree in school counseling (his first was from Howard University), and previously was a student/scholar-athlete in the football program at the University of Akron. Daryan graduated from Princeton High School and is currently interning with the Winton Woods City School District.
Kareem Sanders is the new assistant principal at Central Elementary, effective July 1. At present, he is an assistant principal at an elementary school in Dawson, GA and is relocating with his family to Fairfield. He earned a school administration credential and Master's degree in special education from Albany State University, and an undergraduate degree in journalism and mass communication from North Carolina A & T State University. Kareem is a former special education teacher who taught in Lexington, KY and in school districts in Georgia. He is replacing Bryan Siebenaller, who will be joining the staff at Creekside Middle to teach seventh grade math.
Britni Tudor is the new assistant principal at West Elementary, effective July 1. She brings 11 years of teaching experience to Fairfield. She currently works with gifted and exceptional third and fourth graders in the Cincinnati Public School District. She is experienced as a team leader and in professional development planning. She is the cheerleading coach at Walnut Hills High School and does the same for fourth-sixth graders at her current school. Britini earned her Master's in Reading from Xavier University, and received her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. She is replacing Terrez Thomas, who accepted a principalship in another district.
