The Quality Profile is a comprehensive, community‐oriented companion to the State Report Card. The profile includes additional accountability measures - not included in the state's report - that better define a high quality public education.
The Quality Profile examines aspects of public school life that the community values, including results on standardized testing measures. Its content is divided into six categories that include academics, arts, student leadership and activities, fiscal stewardship, parent and community involvement, and student services.
In its fifth year and now released statewide, the Quality Profile is supported by the Alliance for High Quality Education, an education consortium that works to improve educational opportunities for students and to speak for member districts on matters of educational policy and funding.
