IMPORTANT BEGINNING OF SCHOOL YEAR DATES

FOR SOPHOMORES AND NEW STUDENTS:​
Tuesday, August 13 during the day
• All incoming sophomores and students new to the district will be able to have their school picture** taken, pick-up their schedule, tour the building and pay fees. Our student leaders and staff will be available to answer questions and provide helpful tips and information about navigating the high school.
• 8 am to 3 pm
• **Schedules will only be distributed to students that have had their picture taken.

FOR PARENTS, SOPHOMORES AND NEW STUDENTS:
Tuesday, August 13 in the evening
Students and parents should plan to attend the formal orientation session held in the Performing Arts Center:
• 6:30 to 8:30 pm
• Session led by our administrators in the PAC
• Schedule pick-up and school pictures** will also be available. You will once again be able to tour the building, walk your schedule, pay fees, find and secure your locker and become familiar with the layout of the school before that all important first day.
• The Book Store will be open to purchase amazing spirit wear and areas will be set up in the cafeteria with information available on clubs and activities for students and volunteer opportunities for parents.
• Our student leaders, as well as various staff members, will again be available to answer questions and provide information.
• **Schedules will only be distributed to students that have had their picture taken.

For returning juniors, senior and any sophomores or new students unable to attend on 8/13:
Wednesday 8/14 and Thursday 8/15
• 9 am to 3:00 pm
• LifeTouch will begin photographing students at 9 am on August 14 and 15. School ID cards are processed from this picture, so even if you do not wish to purchase a picture package it is important to have a picture taken**
• Schedule pick-up
• The bookkeeper will be available to give students and parents the opportunity to pay school fees as indicated on the student’s schedule.
• **Schedules will only be distributed to students that have had their picture taken.
