  • College Credit: Advanced students can enroll in AP Music Theory to earn college credit.

Visual Arts

Art classes at Fairfield cultivate technical skill and cultural appreciation across a diverse range of mediums.

  • The Mediums: Instruction includes drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and art history.

  • College Credit: High school students can build and submit a professional portfolio through AP Art to earn college credit.

Performing Arts & Theater

From the 5th-Grade Glee Club to the High School Wind Ensemble, our performing arts tracks sustain Fairfield’s reputation as a regional leader in the arts. Students gain hands-on stage experience, technical theater knowledge, and regular opportunities to participate in award-winning theater presentations and Thespian groups.

Tempo Club

The Tempo Club is an organization for the top music program in Ohio. It is a group of parents, students, and teachers that supports all aspects of the Fairfield City School District music program in grades 6 through 12. This support includes chaperoning, fund-raising, photography, sewing, building, equipment moving, and anything else that may be needed.
