Visual & Performing Arts at Fairfield

Champion Standing
Our music and theater groups regularly secure Grand Champion honors and top awards at invitation-only regional and national competitions.
High Participation
Approximately 50% of all 6th–8th graders and 20–25% of High School students actively participate in elective music and performing groups.
Music Education
Our music curriculum builds a strong foundation in fundamentals, offering robust opportunities for both vocal and instrumental performance.

The Tracks: Features 13 concert, marching, and jazz bands; 7 symphonies and orchestras; and 9 concert and show choirs (including show choir dance electives starting in Grade 7).

College Credit: Advanced students can enroll in AP Music Theory to earn college credit.
Visual Arts

Performing Arts & Theater
From the 5th-Grade Glee Club to the High School Wind Ensemble, our performing arts tracks sustain Fairfield’s reputation as a regional leader in the arts. Students gain hands-on stage experience, technical theater knowledge, and regular opportunities to participate in award-winning theater presentations and Thespian groups.
