Central Elementary Earns GOLD Status for PBIS Work!

Central Elementary School has earned GOLD Status in the Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports program (PBIS)!
PBIS is a framework designed to promote positive learning environments and improve student outcomes. Since 2015, statewide recognition has been presented to schools and districts at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels. The recognized schools apply and demonstrate the use of PBIS practices.
We are extremely proud of this recognition for Central! Congratulations to the staff who implement the school’s PBIS program, and the students and parents for working hard to earn these positive results!

Congratulations to North Elementary!

We just received word that North Elementary School has earned BRONZE Status in the Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports program (PBIS)!
PBIS is a framework designed to promote positive learning environments and improve student outcomes. Since 2015, the coalition has offered statewide recognition at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels to schools that apply and demonstrate use of PBIS practices.
We are extremely proud of this recognition! Kudos to the staff who implement the school’s PBIS program, and the students for working hard to have positive results!

FCSD earns 3.5 stars on the state report card!

What does this rating mean? As a district, we are meeting state expectations and are just 0.03 points shy of a 4-star rating of exceeding expectations!
We are also PROUD to recognize the outstanding work happening in our buildings!

North achieved the district's FIRST 5-STAR RATING! We celebrate this incredible achievement by staff, students, and parents!

Important notice for FCSD bus riders and their guardians regarding app invitations.

A Message for Parents/Guardians of FCSD Bus Riders

The StopFinder app invitations were sent to the primary contact's email for each student. The primary contact may invite other parents, family members, and caregivers from their app. Primary contact emails can be updated through Final Forms. The transportation department will resend invitations the week of July 28 to parents/guardians who update their email information. Bus information will be available on August 4.

FHS Senior Part of Award-Winning Research Team on Public Health

Fairfield High School senior Nihar Patel was part of a group of young scientists who earned a Best Scientific Research Paper Award at the UNITY in Public Health Research Conference. Congratulations to Central Elementary Principal Karrie Gallo!

Central Principal Karrie Gallo was surprised during a recent FCSD administrators’ meeting with a plaque from Peggy Emerson of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce! In June, Karrie was named the 2025 Chamber’s Women Mean Business Educator of the Year! The award presentation was delayed because Karrie was studying and learning in Ghana during the month of June. We are extremely proud of Karrie’s work with FCSD kids. Well done, Karrie!
