Fairfield Board of Education Approves Resolution of Necessity

At its meeting on Thursday, January 15, 2026, the Fairfield City School District Board of Education approved a Resolution of Necessity, a required step in the process of placing a proposed 1.25% school district earned income tax on the May 5, 2026, ballot.

This action does not enact a tax or place the measure on the ballot. It allows the district to receive certified estimates from the Ohio State Tax Commissioner and continue the process required under Ohio law.

West Elementary School has earned BRONZE Status in the Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports program (PBIS)!
