Elementary Summer Programs

(Monday - Thursday each week)

We are looking forward to extending your child's learning during our programs.

In-Person Program at Central Elementary

  • Morning Session: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

  • Afternoon Session: 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Breakfast will be provided for all morning students and lunch will be provided for full day students.

Central Elementary is located at 5054 Dixie Highway in Fairfield.

Virtual Tutoring

One hour sessions are scheduled for participating students for Reading and Math throughout the day:

  • 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

  • 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.

  • 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Bus Transportation Information

Please be at the elementary school on time. Buses will leave promptly at the designated time. Students missing the bus will have to be transported by family.

It is expected that students are picked up from their school within ten (10) minutes of the bus arrival in the afternoon. Students not picked up within ten (10) minutes will be transported back to Central and parents will be called to transport their student(s) home. This occurrence will result in the loss of bus privileges.

Car Riders

Students being transported by families directly to Central Elementary should not be dropped off prior to 8:20 a.m. Pick up is promptly at 3:30 p.m. There will not be anyone available to supervise early arrivals or late pickups.


Summer School Handbook

Attendance

Your child's tutor will be monitoring attendance. Tutors will provide contact information on the first day. Students are required to attend each day to maintain participation in the summer program. Please contact your child's tutor for any issues regarding attendance.
