Student and Parent Handbook
Fairfield East offers a full range of academics including general music, art, physical education, library, and remedial reading services. Each homeroom in our regular education program is assigned a range of student ability and achievement levels. During academic study, students’ needs are met through a variety of small group, large group, and individual instructional strategies within a homeroom and among the grade level. Our special education department serves children with a variety of special needs. According to a student’s individual IEP, he/she may be included in an all day or partial regular homeroom. Educational assistants are assigned to assist special needs students while in regular or special education classes. East offers a child care program for children of working parents. Information on the program is available in the school office by asking for the Latchkey information packet or calling 737-1992. Access the handbook by selecting the file below.
