Superintendent's Community Coffees Seeking Host Homes
The district is launching a new communications initiative called Community Coffees. Superintendent Paul Otten and other district administrators will visit the homes of community members in an open conversation format each month, beginning this month. Superintendent Otten will also schedule quarterly meetings in locations in the city and township to continue these conversations. National Achievement Program Names Commended Scholar |
Brian Fields has been named a National Achievement Program Commended Scholar in recognition of his potential for academic success in college. Brian scored in the top 3% of more than 160,000 African Americans who requested consideration in the 2012 National Achievement Program when they took the 2010 PSAT. Brian’s name will be sent to 1,500 colleges and universities. Congratulations, Brian, we are proud of you! |
