Hello! My name is Miss Wessel and I am a Band Director at Creekside Middle School! In addition to my classes during the day, I also work with the Fairfield High School Marching Band, Creekside Select Band, and Creekside Jazz Ensemble. I am extremely excited to share the joys of making music with the students at Fairfield City Schools this year and look forward to learning something new everyday!
I am a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at Miami University, I participated in the Miami University Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Steel Drum Band, National Association for Music Education, and Epsilon Xi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. I have also worked for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Rhythm X, Inc., a music education non-profit organization. I am a Cincinnati native and have lots of Cincinnati hometown pride!
