POSITION: Student Services Assistant
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This employee will provide support and assistance to the Student Services Director in all areas of the Student Services Office including Food and Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Security and Safety, Registration, and Latchkey.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 High School Diploma required.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
 Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively and work productively with all levels of District management and staff, parents, vendors and the community.
 Ability to self-direct and prioritize among competing goals and exhibit flexibility.
 Commitment to the highest personal and professional standard.
 Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
 Strong thinking, planning and organizational skills.
 Knowledge of organizational structure, school functions, policies and procedures for requisitioning supplies and materials.
 Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
 Physical ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
 Bending, lifting, twisting and repetitive motion required.
 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
 Valid Driver’s license.
 Satisfactory BCI and FBI background checks. Must be free from communicable disease.
STARTING DATE: August 2017
SALARY: $14 - $17 based upon experience
BENEFITS: Based upon Board Policy
WORK YEAR: Full-time position – 210 days
DEADLINE: July 31, 2017, or until filled
