School hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Students are considered tardy if they are not in their classrooms by 9:05 p.m. New School Board policy states that three unexcused tardies equals one unexcused absence. It is important for students to be at school on time daily.

Lunch: Student lunch will cost $2.10. You can put money on your child's account at any time. Make checks payable to Fairfield South Cafeteria.

A new email address has been established for attendance purposes.  Parents may now use the following address to report student absences: southattendance@fairfieldcityschools.com. If received by 9:30 a.m. on the morning of the absence, the email notification will serve as both a call in and a parent note.  This email address is an option we are providing for your convenience.  Parents may still choose to call in to report student absences by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the absence and send a note with the child when he/she returns.  We need to receive written notification of a child’s absence within 3 days of the child’s return to school in order for the absence to be considered excused.  Please continue to ask for written verification of any doctor/dentist visits, funerals, court dates, etc. and send them in with your child on the day he/she returns to school.  Good attendance is critical for success in school.  If you have any questions regarding our new email notification system, please call Vickie Treglia at the school office,829-3078.
