Rotary buys dictionaries for third graders

Third graders in the Fairfield Schools
will have no excuse if teachers find misspelled words
in their writing.
The Fairfield Rotary Club bought 792 dictionaries
for all third graders in the district as part of the
Rotary International Dictionary Project 2006.
Rotarians distributed books in every classroom
in the district with the assistance of Fairfield Senior
High School’s Rotary sponsored Interact Club.
Once the students received and signed their
book they were asked to look up several words such as
service, trust and respect, which highlights Rotarian’s
motto. |
