| Congratulations to Jake Neyer and Seth Dixon for winning the 2008 GMC Wrestling Championship. Jake is a two time GMC (Greater Miami Conference) champion and won the 104 pound title this season. Seth won his first title at the 110 pound weight class. Seth and Jake are both team captains of the FMS squad which finished the season as GMC DUAL champions and Centerville tournament champions. |

| Congratulations to Fairfield Middle School cross country team members Melissa Deitzer and Devin Baker. Both eighth grade girls participated in the 3rd Annual Lance Cpl. Taylor B. Prazynski Memorial 5k Run held at Waterworks Park last Saturday. Melissa finished 26th overall and 1st place in her age bracket with a time 22:50 and Devin finished 30th overall and 3rd in her age bracket with a time 23:09. |
