June 1 - August 15
This summer, entertain your brain with books and programs at the Lane Libraries. Children of all ages are invited to participate in the summer reading challenge. For every 20 books you read OR 12 hours of reading you participate in, complete a game card, return it to the Children's Department at the Hamilton, Fairfield or Oxford Lane Library or on the Bookmobile and you will be eligible to win the grand prize of a bike! (Courtesy of the Friends of the Lane Libraries.) Game cards are available here, at any Lane location or on our Web site, http://www.lanepl.org/summerreading.htm.

This summer, teens ages 13 - 18 are invited to "Entertain Your Brain" at the Lane Libraries and you could win a digital camera (courtesy of the Friends of the Lane Libraries)! For every 3 hours spent reading or every program you attend, fill out a form to enter to win. Entry forms must be complete and accurate to be qualified for the grand prize drawing. Drawing will occur by August 15, 2008.  Pick up an entry form here, at any Lane location or online at http://www.laneteenzone.org.
