Highlights from the Operating Standards for Ohio's Schools
Serving Children With Disabilities Manual
The Operating Standards for Ohio's Schools Serving Children With Disabilities manual is a document which explains the state of Ohio's procedures that address the Federal Law for the education of students with Special Needs, IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). Local Education Agencies (LEA) are required to follow these procedures when developing and implementing programs for the education of the special needs children within their district.
