The following schools are eligible for Public School Choice for the 2011-2012 school year: Central Elementary, West Elementary and East Elementary. South and North Elementaries are accepting transfers. The Fairfield City School District has received $67.759.91 from the Federal government to transport students taking advantage of Public School Choice. District transportation will be provided to the student's school of choice based on financial and academic need.

Applications for students currently enrolled in the Fairfield City Schools to take advantage of Public School Choice are due by August 5, 2011. After this date, new students to the district may continue to take advantage of Public School Choice. After the initial deadline, all funds will be allocated for transportation. New students taking advantage of the Public School Choice option will not be eligible for district provided transportation. Parents will be responsible transporting their child(ren).
