TESTING
The ACT and SAT are two different college entrance tests. The ACT tests knowledge in English, math, reading and science reasoning. The SAT tests knowledge in English and math. Both tests are open to any college-bound student and are offered approximately six times during the school year. Both tests charge a fee and require advance registration. Seniors planning on attending college should sign up for the college entrance exam that they need. Signing up is easily completed online and credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment is made directly to ACT/SAT testing agency. Both the SAT and the ACT websites offer free practice tests on line. Take advantage of this free resource to make the actual test taking more familiar. Registration packets are also available from the Guidance Department.
