Fairfield Preschool
“Excellence, Preparation for Life, Opportunities for All”

The mission of the Fairfield Preschool program is to provide a language rich, play-based environment where every child feels safe, loved and welcome.

We believe that the social-emotional growth is the foundation for academic growth and life-long success.

We believe our relationship with our children’s families is the gateway to a partnership in each child’s development and education.

Guidelines for Typically Developing Children Enrolled in the Preschool Program at the Fairfield Kindergarten Center

Children must:
• Be 3-5 years old at time of acceptance
• Be completely potty-trained (no pull-ups)
• Be screened by the school district
• Be registered with the school district (see online registration packet at www.fairfieldcityschools.com or pick one up at the Student Welcome Center)
All children are placed on a waiting list for the Fairfield Preschool Program by contacting Karen Heatherton at the Kindergarten Center at 829-3900. When your child is selected, you will be contacted by a school employee and have 48 hours to respond or your name will be taken off the list. Please keep your information, especially phone numbers updated, as well as your child’s status in other programs. If you have any concerns about your child’s development, please contact Special Services at 829-4311.

Tuition for the program is $1800 per school year. If you choose to pay by month your payment of $200 is due by the 5th of each month or you risk being dismissed from the program. Your tuition includes: daily snack, fees, and transportation costs.

At this time, we do transport our typically developing children, to and from established kindergarten bus stops. All children must follow the school district’s bus policies and regulations.
