Fairfield City School District Administrative Departments

The Fairfield City School District has established a number of administrative departments to meet student, staff, district and community needs.

Welcome to Fairfield City Schools!  We are committed to providing and excellent education for each of our approximately 10,000 students.

Building & Grounds
Fairfield City Schools is comprised of 10 educational buildings, a district office and maintenance facility.
Business Management Office
Our Business Management office supports students and staff by overseeing Transportation, Food Service, Buildings and Grounds and Maintenance.
Community Relations
This office is responsible for keeping the community informed and involved in our schools by producing district publications, maintaining the district homepage and answering media requests.
Curriculum
This department is responsible for the management and development of Pre-K through Grade 12 curriculum.  This includes the selection and purchasing of text books, educational materials, staff development, instructional support, testing and assessments, student achievement and other curriculum related items.
Food Support Services
Each of our educational buildings serve a variety of hot nutrional meals on a daily basis.  Snacks are also available for purchase.  Parents may indicate whether or not their child may purchase these available snacks.  Services are available to every child through a variety of payment plans including SPSezPay.
Technology
Fairfield City Schools proudly utilizes technology to enhance the education and daily tasks of both staff and students.  Through this support, students are introduced to the ever-growing world of technology and how it will affect them in the future.
Treasurer's Office / Finance
The Treasurer's Office oversees all of the financial operations of the district.  The treasurer serves as the chief financial officer and reports directly to the board of education.
