Martin holds a bachelor of science in secondary education and English from Florida's Southeastern College and a master's degree from the University of Dayton.
The assistant superintendent plays a key role in the district. He is responsible for staffing for all of the district’s certified educators, managing the recruiting, application, interviewing and selection process. He also oversees the evaluations of all the certified staff, is responsible for staff development programs, and manages the selection and training of substitute teachers, home instructors, summer school teachers, English as a second language tutors, and other certified personnel as needed.
